inspur.sm.update_fw module – Update firmware.

This module is part of the inspur.sm collection (version 2.3.0).
You might already have this collection installed if you are using the ansible
package. It is not included in ansible-core
. To check whether it is installed, run ansible-galaxy collection list
.
To install it, use: ansible-galaxy collection install inspur.sm
.
To use it in a playbook, specify: inspur.sm.update_fw
.

Synopsis
- Update firmware on Inspur server.
Parameters

dual_image string | (M5)update dual image(default) or not. Only the M5 model supports this parameter. Choices:

has_me integer | (M5-BIOS)update me or not when update bios,only work in INTEL platform,0-no,1-yes. Only the M5 model supports this parameter. Choices:

host string | Specifies the DNS host name or address for connecting to the remote device over the specified transport. The value of host is used as the destination address for the transport. |
mode string | (BMC)active mode, Manual or Auto(default). Choices:

over_ride integer | Reserve Configrations,0-reserve, 1-override. Choices:
|
password string | Specifies the password to use to authenticate the connection to the remote device. If the value is not specified in the task, the value of environment variable |
provider dictionary | A dict object containing connection details. |
host string |
