Indicative sentences
In impersonal sentences, het has to be used as the subject.
- Het regen. (It rains.)
- Het er warm. (It is warm.)
The subject of the sentence may be put behind the verb in order to be emphasized.
- Het sing min friand. (It's my friend singing.)
