What is the French Mentoring Project?

The French language mentoring project is designed to connect teachers and learners to help individuals practice and learn French.

Mentors may choose to help their students in a variety of ways. Here are a few possibilities:

• By answering questions about the language
• By engaging in French discussion with eachother (using audio, or simply in text form)
• By recommending reading materials or coursework
• By giving corrections
• By giving specific instruction or teaching directly

Mentors need only use what methods they prefer or they think are best for those they are mentoring.
