My computer does not detect my MX Anywhere mouse (bluetooth) in Ubuntu 17.10. I tried the solution in Ubuntu 17.10 not detecting bluetooth mouse but couldn't make it work. Is there anything else I can try? My smartphone and headphones are detected .

Edit:

Output of rfkill list:

  • It's an anywhere 2 if that makes any difference. – Martin Mar 01 '18 at 14:26
  • It does indeed. It's a hp elitebook 8460p. So far I have managed to find out that it has bluetooth 2.1. I'm trying to find more specific info, but is this relevant? – Martin Mar 02 '18 at 08:53
  • Poor choice of words on my part. I simply meant to ask if the information I provided was relevant since I missed the example link, it appeared on a new line on my screen. Anyway, I will edit the question. – Martin Mar 02 '18 at 13:37
  • It seems some answers were deleted. Anything wrong? – Martin Mar 09 '18 at 10:54
