I installed Xubuntu on an old laptop (Fujitsu Amilo Pro v2060) that sports a Pentium M 735A and an Intel Mobile 915GM/GMS/910GML GPU (copy-pasted from terminal after running lspci | grep VGA).

I tried to install steam via the .deb package from the official website, and everyting went smoothly until the Verifying installation phase, which terminates without anything else happening. Here's the terminal output:

lazaros@AegonIV:~$ steam

Here's the minidump file.

I don't know how to read the dump file and I have no idea what to do now, so I am asking for your help!
