I got a new motherboard/CPU, reinstalled Windows 10 (Legacy/MBR).
I want to install Ubuntu however I cannot boot my USB disk as MBR Ubuntu: if I pick Install or Live I get a Kernel panic with messages re: the Bios.
I can boot/run the USB disk as UEFI - and then installation fails because it tries to install GRUB2 as UEFI and the disk is MBR.
Is there anyway to boot UEFI USB disk and install/setup MBR GRUB2?
Any ideas on why MBR Ubuntu boot fails (MSI X470)?
I have rebuilt the USB disk 3 times (once in case the distro was corrupt, and once after updating to Universal-USB-Installer-1.9.8.2. No help.
