Work for less than a year with GTX1080ti. Suddenly, after a regular sudo update, it stopped working.
nvidia-smi results in
"NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running."

After uninstalling and installing nvidia driver (430) several times, tryed many possible solutions, still gets the same error. Interesting, when running inxi I got the next output. inxi output
As you can see, NVIDIA card is not detected, but I got a faulty reading about the gpu temperature (if run before nvidia driver installation, no gpu temp is seen). Any thought? Is it my card broken, or just a driver conflict issue?
