Ubuntu 20.04: Wifi adapter not found

Question

My wifi stopped working on my laptop. Running a software update using the updater did not work.

Ubuntu: 20.04.1 TLS

Adapters seem to be enabled.

Reinstalling bcmwl-kernel-source did not work.

Does this one work in Ubuntu 20.04?

Usually, I am able to use the F-NUMBER keys, e.g. F1 to turn of the volume. Right now they do not work.

This adapter is supported by an in-tree kernel module. It is not loading. @Jeremy31 comment may help. — Pilot6, Nov 27 '20 at 09:50
