  • I would just use 20.04. It is a LTS so it will generally have fewer bugs and better support. Kubuntu 20.04 will be supported for 3 years. 20.10 is already EOL. Consider filing a bug report for 21.04. Devs can't fix problems they don't know about and the more reports from different users, the higher priority a bug will get. – Nmath Aug 15 '21 at 21:35
  • 21.04 will be supported for more than three years. I am using 21.04 – pedrer Aug 17 '21 at 17:54
  • No, it won't. 21.04 will be EOL in January 2022. It is a standard release and will only have 9 months of support. See: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases – Nmath Aug 17 '21 at 18:08
  • Okay, but still, this is irrelevant. – pedrer Aug 31 '21 at 16:24
  • How is it irrelevant? You said the problem doesn't exist using 20.04 LTS. If you want to solve the problem, one solution is to use 20.04 LTS. – Nmath Aug 31 '21 at 17:03
  • 21.04 is a base for 21.10 and newer versions. So I think that it should be fixed. Note: I'm using Kubuntu 21.04. – pedrer Aug 31 '21 at 23:14
  • Have you filed a bug report yet? If you want this fixed, you should file a bug report. In the meantime, you have a solution available to you. We do not accept bug reports on Ask Ubuntu. Bugs reported here do not get entered into the bug tracking system. – Nmath Sep 01 '21 at 01:36
  • Okay, I'll do it asap. – pedrer Sep 01 '21 at 20:09
  • I've updated some stuff. Now my PS4 controller seems to work. My XBOX 360 controller is detected but not giving any input. – pedrer Sep 05 '21 at 22:05
