I have a failed Ubuntu-pro installation on a 20.04 LTS (accidentally pressed the marketing button on the software updater), and now efforts to rectify this issue lead to dependency conflicts between ubuntu-advantage-tools and ubuntu-pro-clients. Has anyone encountered this same issue and is there an obvious fix? Aptitude runs for a few hours and then stalls.

You might want to run 'apt --fix-broken install' to correct these.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
 ubuntu-advantage-tools : Depends: ubuntu-pro-client (>= 31.2~20.04) but it is not installed
 ubuntu-pro-client-l10n : Depends: ubuntu-pro-client (= 31.2~20.04) but it is not installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt --fix-broken install' with no packages (or specify a solution).

EDIT: This is not resolved by the suggested fix of removing ubuntu-advantage-tools as this feature is not readily removed.
