I am receiving this error again and again. At the end, getting it has already installed. Please suggest how I can fix this. I tried all solutions mentioned on this question but got no solution.

Accept this solution? [Y/n/q/?]

Edit:

I have tried apt-get -f install. It does not work as well.

On lsb_release -a, it gives

➜ ~ git:(master) ✗ lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 14.04.4 LTS
Release: 14.04

Can you please include the output of apt-cache policy libpango-1.0-0 libpango1.0-dev for more info about the version discrepancy (as seen in the output of apt-get install libpango1.0-dev). – David Foerster May 10 '16 at 17:10
  • Thank you @DavidFoerster for your help. I want to mention that I installed it from source and there were no conflicts in doing that. – Vinayak Tantia May 14 '16 at 11:57

I was able to install from source without any conflicts as suggested by a friend. Thank you everyone for taking the time to help me

  • I recommend [edit]ing this answer to expand it with specific details about how to do this. (See also How do I write a good answer? for general advice about what sorts of answers are considered most valuable on Ask Ubuntu.) Ping me if you want an up-vote after the improvement. :-) – David Foerster May 14 '16 at 12:08
