I cannot connect to Wi-Fi.The Wi-fi tab is missing from the dropdown menu and also there is no mention of wireless in the networking tab of System Setting.I can only connect through Ethernet..I am running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS in a hp laptop with realtek wireless card. The output of

lshw. Look at the output oflsmodand see if the rtl entries are present. Try adding them or just run all the commands above and see if that makes any difference. – Jeffrey Ross Jul 06 '17 at 20:57
