I have been having problems with my Chromium browser on 14.04 the past few days. When I try to open it it shows up for a split second in my system tray, then disappears and never actually opens. I tried to run it with a terminal using chromium-browser

Can some please tell me what I can do to fix this?
Is this issue fixed. I do face the similar issue. Trying to find out the solution. Not sure what is the correct answer
