I used DigitalOceans's instructions to try and upgrade from 14.04 to 16.04 at this site.

I believe that I need 16.04 to be able to run Devinci Resolve 12.5, so that's my current end game.
If anyone can make heads or tails of what I've sent or maybe tell me what else I can send to clarify, it would be greatly appreciated.
