The function keys are the keys that are usually located on the top of a keyboard, marked F1-F9.

Each key serves a different purpose and is often used with the Fn key, which is usually located at the bottom of the keyboard.

Function key on my acer laptop is always pressed

While typing normal keys I have to press fn (function key) as it seems that the function key is pressed all the time. What do I have to do to turn the function key off and it trigger it only when I press on it.

Function keys work when I press fn key together with them

My F keys (f1, f3, f4 etc.) are not working properly - meaning that I have to press fn+f1 for example for f1 to work. Now when I press just f1 I get audio muted because that is what is supposed to do when pressed fn+f1. How to reverse this thing? So…
