What about me. Was a Tribal-Ranger and an Outdoor Recreational Professional and certified outdoor and rock climbing instructor teaching classes in trail safety and disaster prep. Came in handy now that we have a pandemic on our hands. My formal education is in engineering, geology and Canine Studies. Permanently injured and disabled, out of work since 2006 due to a nasty accident, I turned to my life long avocation of training working dogs: sheep herding, Bird Clearing, Search and Rescue and now run Prescott Service Dogs for disabled veterans and autistic children. Currently living on a farm in Northern Arizona, real p;d tyme cowboy country, where I raise border collies and run a local intranet for my neighbors. Hobbies include HAM radio, computers, IoT,and marksmanship with muzzle loading black powder rifles. Currently building a media server on an old PC with lots of ram and storage with Ubuntu 18.04.lts and the Unity desktop.Been in computers since the Imsai 8080 S-100 bus and CP/M The goal is to serve info and entertainment to the local area in case power and internet go down. About 20 of us on the project, all windows users. I'm the only Linux user in the area.
