2. uvcopy - data manipulation tool for text files & files FTP'd from mainframe - can process packed/binary fields, files w/o Linefeeds, Indexed files - can address fields by column position - can replace mainframe utilities (IEBGENNER,QUIKJOB,EASYTRIEVE,etc)
3. uvhd - file investigation utility, displays in vertical hexadecimal - great for files with binary/packed fields - interactive utility with 25 help screens
