Just entering a high beginner or low intermediate stage as I have lately been working more and more with the command line. I have set up a number of Ubuntu based servers,file servers mostly. Moving from Samba to NFS as there aren't any Windows machines running here anymore. As for basic everyday systems I started using Linux with SUSE 9 or so and made the switch to Ubuntu shortly after SUSE 11. I do make an effort to give back, Ubuntu Forums has been my place of choice until recently. I like the format, and answers given here at Ask better.
