Now in my 50's I have been tinkering with computers since my first Apple II as a kid. More of a hardware nut than a software nut, I like to "hot rod" my PCs with things like hardware raid 0, overclocking, massive cooling, etc. My current PC is an i9 11900k with two PCIe 4.0 NVMe drives in linux raid 0, important data is backed up to a 12tb 6 drive Raid 5 hardware array on an LSI card with two SSDs drives for SSD caching. System RAM is 64gb. Currently overclocked to 5.3ghz with AIO water cooling.
