Never really liked windows but 8 on my ultabook was definitely a no no so using Ubuntu. Then again I'm always a sucker for an upgrade so when 13.04 'popped up' I thought (yet again) give it ago. Big mistake! Hope my problem can be resolved otherwise I'll have to reload 12.04 (not 12.10) on the ultrabook somewhat sharpish as going away in 3 days for a couple of months and refuse to take my old 12.04 based Dell Vostro.
