Amateur Radio op, and interested in finally making the move to Linux. Occasionally used SUN OS, Digital, and HP-UX in college when I was also running OS/2 on a 486. Now with a lot of great apps available to Linux and even microsoft providing multi-platform PowerShell I'm trying to learn Linux and expand my knowledge. Lifelong learning... I started with Raspberry PI and now i've moved to full blown laptop and home computer (Gen 1 Ryzen 7 that was not w11 supported). I guess the original pull to Linux was with setting up web sites using Wordpress on AWS hosts. It's amazing how cheap an AWS host is! So I did that and then found myself buying a Raspberry Pi and then running a few VM's then migrating the home PC and now buying a brand new laptop to put Ubuntu on..
