I like working at the bare metal layer when writing embedded programs. I once developed an entire system including the GUI.

I live in a fifth-wheel trailer full time. It's great waking up in your own bed when on vacation, except for the rando 5 foot iguana staring through your bedroom window. I'm also an amateur astronomer with an 8 inch telescope that weighs over 100 pounds. Too much telescope, not enough me...
