I've been using ubuntu for a year.. settled on 12.04 alternate install cause it seems to have the least problems and I was able to smooth most of them out to have a somewhat stable system..

I have a very basic set up.. just a small motherboard (OS independent capable) and a CPU with memory and a intel ac wireless card that's supposedly Linux capable (although not 12.04) thrown into a box so most of what I have hardware wise isn't a problem accept this new 12.04Lts and the wifi card.. otherwise, my goal is to use Ubuntu as a stepping stone to learn FreeBSD.. and like all projects, I'm looking at a mountain of jobs that's daunting sometimes..
