I am a volunteer ESL teacher.
I have been using Ubuntu since version 7. I have spent years tinkering with hardware, PCs, and laptops to do whatever I decided was interesting. Attaching TV tuning cards for digital TV and other things I wanted to do long before they were generally available, or affordable. I piece together old PCs and laptops to create better systems than the obsolete stuff I have. Still end up with old crap, frustrating work and fun.

I have several websites. A network of sites for my ESL class on a WordPress MultiSite and my personal WordPress site/blog. I spend my tinker time on my ESL site to create things for my students or anyone like puzzles, games, and quizzes.

I have yet to learn software - programming. After all of these years. Between WordPress, the games etc. I am trying to build, and Ubuntu, I need to get into it. So my tinkering will be directed to that end. No more hardware.
