Ubuntu Newb, w/ intermediate computer skills. Currently dual booting Ubuntu 14.04/Windows 7 Home Premium on Acer Aspire laptop. Primary printer is a Brother HL-2270-DW, also have Brother color all-in-one MFC-J825DW. (Also have 2 Dell boxes, one w/ now dormant XP but booting via USB w/ a smaller distro AND one w/ Windows 7 Professional to which will later add a Linux distro after I'm done using it to search Linux info while I'm getting to know Ubuntu on the laptop. All of this menagerie is on a wired and wireless home network.

Only vexing problem currently is getting a printer interface. If needed, will look into HP printers.
