Minitran was a cut-down version of Fortran developed by students at Monash University in Melbourne. Will flesh this out a little more over time but suffice it to say that I have worked with MS-DOS versions from 3.1 to the 7s, and with Windows from 3.0 to 7. Now I am on a big learning curve with Linux, commencing with 12.04 LTS Precise Pangolin.
