I work as a mathematics teacher, university lecturer and scientific software developer. I live in Austria, near Linz. I use Ubuntu for many years, mostly for desktop installations, but also for servers.

On my desktop a wide range of free software is installed: I use Ubuntu to work with mathematics related documents with the help of LaTeX system, I write mathematics related software with JetBrains and Qt Creator, I run Zoom for Linux for my regular teaching activities, I edit illustrative pictures for my presentations with GIMP, I use free Bible study software like BibleTime or Xiphos, and many more!

On servers I maintain web server installations (Apache or Nginx), mathematics related server software and testing suites (via Jenkins).
