I do electronics not software and computers. Somehow that has me designing micro-controllers, writing code in Assembler, C, C++, Clipper, and Flagship and dealing with more IT than I ever cared to. Hardware is king you guys - at least that is what I tell myself as I watch all things cool head for the landfill. I call that phenomena the digital kiss of death. I'm here because I am tired of the Bill Gates enterprise pulling out the rug again and again. I'll be proficient at the GNU/Linux discipline one day - that day should have been in the early 90's I fear. I am hopeful to contribute someday - same way in some form other than cash donations. I'm not sure this life will let me.
