I am a coder and designer who took an inadvertent detour into the SCM world. It is now time to return to my roots: writing code, solving problems, making stuff work.

My experience is in "engine room" code. Kernel level, or embedded systems, even in file systems. I want to be back in that area as well as stretch into other areas that have grown recently. I excel in C. I write good C++. I solve problems. That is what I do.

Along the way I did pick up some skills useful in dev-ops as well. I'm always interested in sharpening those talents, too.
