In my day job I'm a scientist in pharmaceutical biology.
Computers are a hobby for me, I like to watch movies, play games, make devices interact, and do those things in an efficient way. Ubuntu is one of the few ways I feel to be working with my computer instead of against it. Other OSes don't seem to bring that experience for me. Even though my in-depth knowledge of the OS are not within my grasp, I try to understand what I need to get my system running the way I want. Also I own an MX4 ubuntu version, and broke a BQ E4.5 ubuntu version (physically, not bricked).
Aside from that my hobbies are sailing, skiing, fixing things in my home, and being out in nature.
