I'm a computer geek, architect and open source advocate. I maintain https://github.com/jasonmcintosh/rabbitmq-zabbix when I have spare time. I've programmed in Java, Python, and other languages 20 years with Java being my main focus. This is everything from back-end design (my preference) to front end websites.

Lately, I've been more focused on DevOps and supporting operations work. I've experience maintaining tomcat/apache/rabbitmq/RHEL based infrastructure and have worked in Linux since kernel releases 1.2.

I've run OpenStack on a home cluster, I play MAAS, Chef, and any other technology that interests me.
