Have been running an XP machine since 2005(It's almost 2016 as I write this). It is starting to become a hindrance in certain ways. I decided it was time to get a new comp and to build it with the goal of creating a system for photo editing. The new comp is my very first build. The new comp build consists of; ASUS M5A97 R2.0 MB, AMD FX-6330 6 core Black Edition CPU, ASUS NVIDIA GTX 750 Ti Graphics card, Samsung 850 EVO SSD, Corsair Vengeance 16gb ram. All of the info I gathered about Win OS left me wanting, hence my choice to move to Ubuntu. :) In life I'm a drummer/percussionist in Celtic Folk bands, as well as a photographer and graphic designer. My joys in life are; long distance self-supported bicycle touring, good food, and good drink.
