I have always had a natural latent talent for understanding programming, etc. but any example would typically be laughable to those who would be on these boards in the first place - those who have spent years in the cultivation a skill, at least. Proof that I have a knack for understanding what I am actually clueless to is in the communication of it at the time required.
I used to work with techs, other departments, etc. but mostly in close partnership with the main Cisco engineer in my office with all appearance of handling scheduling, documentation and account management only. He could intentionally riddle information off to me whileI was still able to figure out the essentials needed to be acted upon or passed on, whether to sales or to the CEO. For me he provided what needed to be considered before taking action in the eyes of everyone who might misinterpret the necessary documentation of quick decisions upward that benefited the company's scalability when unseen under the radar. Luckily I never had a title to live up to when helping build a small ISP, but my admin skills are not replaceable.
Flying under the radar as such in a start-up gave me the confidence to act under certain circumstances. The only reason I have found myself here, on these boards, is ongoing personal security issues with a laptop. Forums are not my forte, so go easy on me, please! PS, I think my personality type is still needed with techs as it balances them out in a way that ultimately makes their stressful responsibilities easier to manage.
