Retired computing professional. Used many mainframes from the 1960's and 1970's as a programmer and systems programmer. Progressed to management not so much fun but better rewarded. Continued in the field using various mini computers and server systems including Unix but did not really get my hands dirty so consider myself a newbie in Linux terms. Now playing with PC systems using Windows and Linux (mainly Ubuntu 16.04). Personal interests include travel in hot sunny climes with good relaxing beaches and bars.
