I'm a biomedical/mechanical engineer at a small company developing a medical device for use inside the bore of a MRI machine. When I went to school, I stayed clear of electronics and only wanted to used Window machines. Now that I'm out, I realized how much more effective my designs would be if they incorporated electronics and how simpler and efficient they would be if they were on a different OS.

I enjoy challenges, but realize that there are folks out there a lot smarter than me and that's why I joined the askubuntu forums!
