Running several Operating Systems through VirtualBox to learn about them.

I wish Ubuntu developers had concentrated on finishing the Ubuntu desktop - it would have been a real contender against Microsoft. But there still isn't a straight forward graphical System Settings way to widen scroll bars or change the mouse pointer size and color; this and other issues prohibit me from recommending the OS to my less computer literate friends.
