Developer since the 1970's. Fond memories of paper tapes and punched cards. A pre-Internet and pre-PC age, writing assembly code for proprietary operating systems - sigh. Not forgetting terminals with punched tape readers - teletypes!

Last 15-20 years mostly Windows and C++. Occasional Unix forays.

But now an Ubuntu newbie/returnee. Well, you need hobbies in retirement.
