I first got interested in Linux in 2005 or so. My first installation of Linux was Xubuntu 6.06 LTS on Dapper Drake and I've used some form of Ubuntu ever since.

Began programming when my uncle (then an engineer in Microsoft's Visual Studio team) gave me a copy of VS and a book on VB6 when I was 10. I got more interested in programming when I was 16 and began to use free software and learned Python.

My experience has been mostly in some personal scripts, some web apps, mostly in Python, often with Django, and a bit of Java and C++ from university.
