Ile District (Kazakh: Іле ауданы, Ile audany) is a district of Almaty Region in Kazakhstan. The district is named for the Ili River ("Ile" in Kazakh). Its administrative center is the settlement of Otegen Batyr.[3] Population: 191,897 (2013 estimate);[2] 170,695 (2009 Census results);[4] 120,725 (1999 Census results).[4]
