Ostrów [ˈɔstruf] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Janów Podlaski, within Biała Podlaska County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland, close to the border with Belarus.[1] It lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) east of Janów Podlaski, 23 km (14 mi) north-east of Biała Podlaska, and 117 km (73 mi) north-east of the regional capital Lublin.
