Sviny is a municipality and village in Žďár nad Sázavou District in the Vysočina Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 100 inhabitants.
Sviny lies approximately 26 kilometres (16 mi) south-east of Žďár nad Sázavou, 37 km (23 mi) east of Jihlava, and 146 km (91 mi) south-east of Prague.
