I am new to Ubuntu. For the last 3 complete days I have been looking for a solution to this problem with no luck. I have read almost all the similar question posted on Ask Ubuntu but there is no solution. Few people mark the question as Duplicate. Instead of marking it as duplicate and redirecting to other link can anyone please answer the question here.
Weak WiFi signal, have to sit very close to the router to work(3-4 feet).
I have dual booted window and installed Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
Network controller: Ralink corp. RT3290 Wireless 802.11n 1T/1R PCIe
In this Ask Ubuntu Question, it was written to add the output of these commands:
sudo lshw -class network
lsusb
lspci
dmesg
dmesg | grep -i firmware
So i am adding them here.

- dmesg output of this command was very long so i had to uploaded it here on Google drive

This is the first time i am posting a question so forgive me if i make any mistake.
Please let me know if any other information is need to solve this problem. Help please!!!
iwconfig
command. Also, use http://pastebin.com instead of google drive for outputs. Last but not least, is that bold really necessary? We can read plain text. – mikewhatever Aug 26 '17 at 19:29sudo iwconfig wlo1 power off
to check if things get better. Also, you might want to use pastebin.com now, and post there your dmesg. I can't access google drive. – mikewhatever Aug 27 '17 at 15:28ieee80211 phy0: rt2x00queue_flush_queue: Warning - Queue 2 failed to flush
, and I've found similar reports, also with thert2800pci
driver. There is no clear solution or workaround. You might want to try changing the router's wireless mode to 11g only, or some other suggestions. – mikewhatever Aug 27 '17 at 17:30
